Summer Sanchez
Hello all! My name is Summer Sanchez and I am entering my sixth year as a special education teacher. I taught four years in a middle school setting, and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade for my third year. My primary goal as an educator is to make all students feel seen and loved, and to celebrate students’ differences and strengths. I am so delighted to be a part of the F.AVE family and I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Hannah Stewart
Hello! My name is Hannah Stewart and this is my third year at F.AVE. I earned a bachelor's degree in Technological Entrepreneurship and Management from Arizona State University before I decided to take the leap to follow my passion to education. I studied Elementary Education at Mercer University for my master's degree and received honors. I live in Kirkwood with my husband, my wonderful daughter and our dog. I am looking forward to an amazing year!

Taylor Terry
am Taylor Terry and I was born and raised here in Atlanta Georgia. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2015 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I lovingly refer to my students as Ms. Terry's Berries. I really enjoy nature, art, music and of course, STRAWBERRIES! I like to keep my classroom clean, neat, organized, and aesthetic. I am heading into my 10th year teaching and I am excited for what's to come!
Welcome to fifth grade! This is my ninth year here at F.AVE and my fourteenth year as a classroom teacher. I have taught second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade ELA. I earned my BA in Sociology and my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of New Hampshire, my CAS in Literacy from The University of Southern Maine, and my PhD in Curriculum and Instruction at Mercer.
I grew up near Portland, Maine and moved to Georgia twelve years ago. I live in Decatur with my family and we enjoy going to the park, playing outside, reading, doing arts and crafts, and spending quality family time together! In my free time I enjoy reading, and cooking.

Ariel Wise
My name is Ms. Wise and I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from Emory University in 2010. I then went on to earn my Masters in Elementary Education from Mercer University in 2020. I received my Classroom Educator certificate through the Orton-Gillingham Academy in 2022. This will be my 5th year teaching at FAVE. Something interesting about me is that I am an avid gardener and identical twin! Both my sister and I love to grow our own food and explore nature. My favorite hobbies other than gardening include: hiking, paddle boarding, birding, biking, reading, and horseback riding. One of my biggest passions in education is providing a safe, welcoming, and fun place for students to push themselves, advocate for themselves, and learn who they are. Welcome to 5th grade!
