My name is Nailah Carty.

For the 25-26 school year, I have the honor of teaching F.Ave's STEAM class.

This year, we strive to support our F.Ave STEAMers in developing skills in problem solving, creativity, collaboration, teamwork, critical analysis, risk taking, communication, and digital literacy.

Trina Hallman has been teaching Physical Education in City Schools of Decatur since 2009. She has also taught Adapted PE and coached volleyball at the middle school. She is a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan. Fins Up! Coach Hallman has an undergraduate degree in Sport Management & a Masters in Adapted Physical Education. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, going to the beach, watching movies & football, and spending time with her two chocolate parti Yorkies, Koda & Dash!

Nick Madden has been teaching art for almost two decades. He holds bachelor’s degrees from UGA and KSU. In his spare time, Nick enjoys making art, swimming in the ocean, and watching scary movies.  

Hi! I’m so excited to join the F.Ave family this year!

Hey everyone! My name is Davis Mann and I am so thrilled to be teaching music this year! This is my third year at F.AVE. I am from Birmingham, AL and went to school at Auburn University where I got my degree in music education. I am so excited to have a good time singing, dancing, and playing instruments with the students each day. Let’s have a wonderful year!
